Meet the Owner and Teacher!
Hello! My name is Kathy Blajic, and I'm the owner/founder/teacher of Kathy's Educational Services (Michigan-based) and Little Tots Learning. Kathy's Educational Services was founded in 2008, as a small business in Rochester Hills, Michigan. I wish to remain as a small business, because my focus is my students, and not the bottom line. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, Masters Degree in Special Education, and an endorsement in Autism from Oakland University. In addition, I'm a Reading Specialist professional who has aimed to improve reading achievements in school districts by servicing as a teacher, coach, and leader of school reading programs.
This is my fifteenth year teaching, and I could not be any happier. I thoroughly enjoy teaching. Working alongside parents to bring out the best in their child gives me great satisfaction.
As a child, I grew up watching the Muppets on Sesame Street. Here are the Muppets at the White House!
In addition, I'm the author and illustrator of children's books. I'm not alone in that. It seems like everyone I talk to has a picture book inside them just waiting to be written. We children's writers are passionate people. We love words and have tales to share with the world. The nine books that I've written and illustrated include: "ABC: My Animal Book: Alphabet Book of Animals," "Numbers: Counting Our Way Through the Zoo 1 to 20," "123 Famous Landmarks," and "World Flags: A Book of Colors and Counting (Our World Series)," and "What Is That On Me?: A eBook of Cool Noises." All eBooks are available on Teachers Pay Teachers and Amazon Kindle.
Psalm 37:5-6 - Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. There would be times in my life when no one thought that I was going in the right direction with my businesses. But no one can stop God's anointing. Since he gave me the ideas for my businesses, he has blessed them. I stay faithful and focused. When I think I have no more to give, I give some more and I continue to be rewarded.
